Services: Family medicine, preventive health, women's health, children's health and immunizations, prenatal and newborn care, health education, STD/HIV education.

How to be a patient: Martin Luther King Family Health Center accepts new patients. It is appreciated if you call in advance for an appointment. The Medical Center welcomes most private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, Women's Health Connection and Nevada Check-Up. A sliding fee schedule for low-income patients who do not have insurance is available. Identification and income information is needed to enroll in the sliding fee program.

Appointments are strongly recommended; some sites do see walk-ins for emergency needs. Call the medical center to check on walk-in availability.

Prescription Refills: Ask your pharmacist to fax your request for prescription refills to the doctor; this will speed up your refill process.

Additional Information: Located off of Martin Luther King Boulevard, the Health Center opened its doors in 2000. Martin Luther King Family Health Center has made medical care available to more than 3,300 people and is having a positive impact on the health of the local community.
