            Overview:
Nevada Health Centers operates 21 medical and dental sites including a Health Care for the Homeless Program, a School Based Health Program and an OB/GYN Center.  In addition we operate three Miles for Smiles Buses, the Mammovan, two WIC sites and a Community Health Pharmacy.

Jackpot Community Health Center, located in Elko County, opened its doors to serve the community with quality health care in 1992.

Jackpot, a high desert jewel in northeast Nevada, remains today largely as it was 100 years ago. An untamed oasis of cattle and sheep country, fresh crystal clean air, vast unfenced ranges, pristine mountain tops and bountiful wildlife. Once thought of as wasteland, it is now located upon one of the last high desert wilderness areas in the world. Jackpot was founded in 1954. Their economy is based on gaming, tourism and cattle ranching.

Target Population— Jackpot’s population is approximately 1,350 people.

Services Provided— Family Medicine, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, D.O.T. Physicals, Occupational Health, STD/HIV Education & Screening, Family Planning, Urgent Care, Lab, X-Ray, Prescription Dispensary, Periodic Screenings for Kids & Adults, Well-Child Care and Immunizations, Prenatal and Newborn Care, Chronic Illness Management, Health Education.

Staffing:
Jackpot is staffed with one MD. There is one back office and one front office support staff.  Once a month, a Medicaid Eligibility Specialist visits the clinic to assist the community with available programs.
