Overview:
Nevada Health Centers, Inc. (NVHC) was founded in 1977 as Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and currently has 17 clinical sites throughout Nevada. Gerlach Medical Clinic opened its doors to serve the community with quality health care in 1992.

Gerlach is a tiny village 107 miles north of Reno at the juncture of the Smoke Creek and Black Rock Deserts, with the Granite Mountain Range as a backdrop. This area is still home for descendents of the Basque and other ranching pioneers, miners, and later, railroad men. Today, Gerlach is known for its access to the Black Rock Desert, the diverse recreation there, and its eccentric artists. Annually, one week in August/September, the “Burning Man” festival is held here, bringing upward of 40,000 people.

Target Population— Gerlach/Empire’s population is approximately 600 people.

Physicals, Occupational Health, STD/HIV Education, Family Planning, Urgent Care, Lab, X-Ray, Prescription Dispensary, Periodic Screenings for Kids & Adults, Well-Child Care and Immunizations, Prenatal and Newborn Care, Chronic Illness Management, Health Education.
