Services: Family medicine, preventive health, women's health, children's health and immunizations, prenatal and newborn care, health education, STD/HIV education.

How to be a patient: Eastern Family Medical and Dental Center provides medical and dental care. The medical care covers family practice and pediatric services, which include well child care and immunizations, preventive care, care for illnesses, care for chronic conditions, senior health care and health education. In the summer of 2009, we plan to add OB care to this facility as well. The OB/GYN will provide prenatal care and delivery and special gynecological care. Our dentists provide the full spectrum of dental care to patients age 5 and over. Once fully staffed we will be a family health center for almost all of your medical and dental care needs!

Appointments are strongly recommended; some sites do see walk-ins for emergency needs. Call the medical center to check on walk-in availability.

Prescription Refills: Ask your pharmacist to fax your request for prescription refills to the doctor; this will speed up your refill process.

Additional Information: Eastern Family Medical and Dental Center began providing services to the community in the summer of 2008. A grant from the Lincy Foundation and from the City of Las Vegas provided funding to remodel Eastern Family Medical and Dental Center into a state of the art health center. The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Funds for a Healthy Nevada, The Division for Aging Services, The MGM/Mirage Voice Foundation, The Trust Fund for Public Health, The Nevada Community Foundation and Smiles Across America provide funding to help offset the cost of providing medical and dental care to uninsured patients.
