Nevada Health Centers provide more than just treatment for illness or episodic conditions.  Like all good family doctors, NVHC provides ongoing care and health management for families and individuals throughout their lives.

How to use our Clinics:

Call the clinic of your choice during their regular business hours. (You can see the contact information for each of our clinics by clicking on the clinic name in the box on the left side of this page) Tell the receptionist that you would like to be seen by one of our medical providers. The receptionist will work with you to arrange a convenient appointment time for you.

If this is your first visit to our clinic, please plan to arrive about 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to fill out the necessary paperwork. If you are unable to make it to your appointment, please call the clinic 24 hours in advance or as soon as you can. This will allow us to fill that time slot with another patient who wants to be seen.

If your insurance requires a co-pay, please be prepared to pay the full amount while you are at the clinic. If you qualify for our sliding fee program, this amount is also due at the time of your appointment.

Our clinic hours vary from site to site and are set to meet the needs of the individual community. Emergency Medical Services are available and may be accessed by telephone which varies from clinic to clinic.  In acute emergencies, most areas of Nevada are served by 911. Please see the individual clinic pages for details and contact information.

All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  This is to ensure adult guidance in medical care and for reasons of consent.  The only exceptions to this are emergencies and contraceptive counseling or treatment as provided for in Nevada Revised Statues.

Pharmacy Services:

As a federally funded program, NVHC is able to purchase prescription drugs at significant savings and make those drugs available through our clinic dispensaries to patients at competitive prices.  This service is coordinated through our own licensed Community Health Pharmacy that is located in Carson City. Follow-up prescriptions and billing are all done by that Pharmacy Office. Please check with the individual clinic to see if this service is available at that site.
