Services: Family medicine, preventive health, women's health, children's health and immunizations, prenatal and newborn care, health education, STD/HIV education.

How to be a patient: Cambridge Family Health Center accepts new patients. It is appreciated if you call in advance for an appointment. The Medical Center welcomes most private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, Women's Health Connection and Nevada Check-Up. A sliding fee schedule for low-income patients who do not have insurance is available. Identification and income information is needed to enroll in the sliding fee program.

Appointments are strongly recommended; some sites do see walk-ins for emergency needs. Call the medical center to check on walk-in availability.

Prescription Refills: Ask your pharmacist to fax your request for prescription refills to the doctor; this will speed up your refill process.

Additional Information: Cambridge Family Health Center was opened in 2002 with the assistance of county funds granted by Commissioner Myrna Williams and funds from the Clark County Health Access Consortium. It is located in the Cambridge Community Center which is part of a complex that houses other social service agencies. A multitude of services and activities for individuals and families are available at the Cambridge Community Center.
